Psychiatrist, California Medical Director
Dr. Nima Fahimian, is double board-certified in both Integrative Medicine and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Fahimian is well known for advancing the field of psychiatry with his particular expertise in psychopharmacology, biofeedback, and Express TMS. With a head for research and a heart for clinical care, Dr. Fahimian ensures that his patients are treated with the most effective, up-to-date, and safest treatments available. Dr. Fahimian was trained at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, where he was appointed to be the Chief Resident during his psychiatry residency. Dr. Fahimian has held faculty appointments at UC Davis, UC Irvine, and is currently an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at UC Riverside.

Dr. Aaron Escovitz has profound experience treating individuals from a wide spectrum of backgrounds and mental health disorders, and prioritizes a collaborative and educational treatment approach for individuals to make informed medical decisions regarding their care. Dr. Escovitz has training in assessing and treating patients in various acuity settings, including the emergency room, inpatient psychiatric units, and outpatient clinics. Dr. Moussai is a board-certified psychiatrist who completed his psychiatric training at Yale School of Medicine. He has been providing direct patient care for more than two decades specializing in adults with a variety of psychiatric conditions. He is a former Associate Clinical Professor at UCLA School of Medicine and a former Assistant Clinical Professor at USC School of Medicine and has provided direct supervision to trainees over the years. He was a Medical Director at the VA providing care to our returning combat Veterans and later worked in the commercial healthcare sector as the Regional Medical Director overseeing substance abuse and eating disorder treatment. He has knowledge and expertise in providing care using various treatment modalities including medications, psychotherapy, and other approaches such as TMS and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy

Dr. Stephanie Michael Stewart is a holistic psychiatrist at Bespoke Treatment, known for her confidence in each person’s inner healing intelligence. She expertly combines traditional psychiatric treatments with holistic approaches, including yoga, meditation, and nutrition, primarily focusing on depression, anxiety, and trauma. Her approach is deeply rooted in her experience as both a leader and developer of a wellness center, where she integrated evidence-based psychiatric methods with complementary therapies.
Her practice is characterized by a commitment to treating a broad spectrum of patients, with a particular emphasis on racial trauma, women’s health, and diverse gender and sexual expressions. Dr. Stewart’s educational background includes training at Spelman College, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Harvard Medical School, followed by a psychiatric residency at Cedars-Sinai. Gavin Dawson is a board-certified Physician Assistant, founder of the medical education company Global Emergency Medics, a Lead Instructor of wilderness medicine courses, and a dedicated researcher to the ever-expanding world of psychedelic medicine. After double majoring with honors at the University of Colorado in Neuroscience and Integrative Physiology plus a minor in Philosophy, he went on to complete his graduate studies at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Gavin’s ability to create an environment of trust and support sets him apart in the world of medicine. Desanne Gonsalves, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant who works with and manages patients dealing with various mental health illnesses. She helps patients dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and mood disorders, by utilizing antidepressant and mood-stabilizing medications that are tailored to a patient’s symptoms.
Desanne Gonsalves holds a Master in Physician Assistant studies from the A.T. Still University. Before this, Desanne completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Journalism at Arizona State University. She values developing a strong rapport with patients, ensuring patients feel supported, and providing individualized treatment plans.
Nurse Practitioner
Melanie is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with seven years of nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, San Marcos, and worked as a Registered Nurse at Huntington Hospital and UCLA. Her commitment to psychiatric medicine grew from personal experiences and recognizing the unmet needs in mental health.
To broaden her impact, Melanie obtained a Master’s degree in Nursing from Maryville University. She has experience in treating patients with treatment-resistant mental health conditions, including the use of innovative therapies like ketamine infusion. Melanie is passionate about destigmatizing mood disorders and advocates for alternative treatments like ketamine and psychedelic medicine. She finds great fulfillment in working closely with patients, helping them take control of their mental health and confidently navigate their treatment journey.

Jenae was initially drawn to the social work profession because she found herself aligned with its values of service, self-determination, dignity, and social justice. She received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Alabama in 2012. She is a licensed clinical social worker with 10 years of experience in community-based mental health with adults, youth, families, and the reentry population. She has experience in treating complex trauma, substance abuse, depression and anxiety, and has received training in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Kathleen is a licensed MFT and certified as a Clinical Trauma Specialist. She has spent the last 20+ years working in a variety of capacities serving the mental health community through private practice, residential treatment facilities, sober living facilities, non-profit organizations, schools and colleges, and outreach opportunities. Shelby is a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work and has been practicing in the field of Social Work and Mental Health for over 10 years. Shelby has held many positions and titles within the field of mental health and addiction, including Mental Health Therapist, Family Therapist, Clinical Director, Executive Director, Program Director, and CEO. She also served as an Adjunct Professor in the Social Work department at Azusa Pacific University where she is an alum. Shelby is passionate about helping people integrate their mind and body to experience their emotions holistically. She is trained in EMDR therapy, a modality that treats a wide array of diagnoses including, but not limited to: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Panic Disorder, and Chronic Pain. Occupational Therapist
Meg Latt is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) based in the San Francisco Bay Area with over six years of experience in acute inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and inpatient medical-surgical care. Meg is a compassionate and accomplished OT, blending her expertise with a genuine desire to improve the lives of those she serves. Meg takes a holistic approach and demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development. Meg completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy at San Jose State University in 2016. She completed her MBSR in 2015 and her Yoga Teacher Training (200 hours) in 2019. Meg uses mindfulness and movement practices in her group and individual sessions with patients. Meg completed advanced continuing education in Sensory Modulation for Self Regulation, ACT, DBT, and CBT-P. She has presented on Sensory Modulation for the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Lisa is a Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher with a passion for working with clients who are coping with mental health conditions and healing from trauma. She first became interested in health and wellness while completing her Bachelor’s degree at Morehead State University. After personally experiencing the powerful effects of movement on her own mental health, she became certified as a Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise. Seeking an even deeper understanding of the mind-body connection, she went on to complete a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at My Vinyasa Practice. Lisa has experience teaching thousands of movement-based classes, and is on a mission to share yoga and exercise as tools for recovery and overall well-being.

Jesika—also known as Jess—is a board-certified Health and Wellness Coach. She is driven by a profound understanding of the interconnectedness between lifestyle factors (including environment) and mental well-being. Jesika started with Bespoke Treatment in 2021 and brings a wealth of experience to her role. She has worked in direct patient care since 2016, including her time at Bespoke.
Jess’s inspiration for becoming a coach was rooted in her path to healing, her love of learning, and her unwavering commitment to supporting others in their process. Jesika’s approach incorporates insights from behavior change theory, functional and ancestral health principles, psychedelic integration tools, mindfulness techniques, and effective communication methods – such as nonviolent communication. TMS Technician
Deeply interested in the cognitive functions of the brain, Joshua looked to pursue his career in the field of mental health. During his time in college, Joshua took up a position as a research assistant at the Veterans Affairs in Long Beach. Theoretical knowledge gained through coursework was applied to practical, hands-on experience, allowing him to develop a contextual understanding of research practices and neuropsychological assessment. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, Joshua turned to Bespoke Treatment to assist patients who struggled to find the high-quality care they deserved. Nicholas graduated from Colorado State University after obtaining his Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry. He moved to California shortly after, and intends to pursue a future career as a Physician Assistant. He has past experience working with ketamine in a clinical setting, which quickly ignited his passion for mental health treatments outside of standard medication regimens. Clinical Supervisor
After earning his doctorate in psychology, Gil completed his individual psychoanalytic training at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity (IPSS) in New York and his group analytic studies at the Center for Group Studies also in New York. Utilizing the experience of studying various psychoanalytic points of view (relational analysis, self-psychology and modern analysis) Gil is especially interested in exploring the interaction of individual and group development using both interpretive and non-interpretive interventions. Gil is a Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology and a Certified Group Psychotherapist. Currently he serves on the faculty of the Contemporary Institute of Psychoanalysis (Los Angeles) New York as a training and supervising analyst and Center for Group Studies in New York.
Clinic Director
Since she was young, Mara has been passionate about learning how the brain functions, especially in relation to mental health. Mara attended graduate school at King’s College London and earned a Masters of Science degree in Forensic Mental Health Research. She is excited to use her knowledge of evidence-based treatments for mental health and see the benefits firsthand in a clinical setting. Taking from her experiences abroad, she also hopes to help make mental healthcare more accessible in America. Mara is delighted to be a part of the team and to be there to guide patients through every step of the process.
Clinical Director
Carey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in CA, TX, OR and WA with a Masters from the University of Texas at Austin, and a former attorney. Carey worked on HIPAA violations and various opioid accountability litigation cases in California before becoming a clinician. She has spent the majority of her career in Clinical Services overseeing therapists and program management, and recently in Executive roles helping start-up behavioral health hospitals and programs in the mental health and substance use field. Most recently she began working with psychedelics in the Pacific Northwest and is thrilled to be continuing this work with Bespoke Treatment. Carey is also a certified Sivananda Yoga instructor and EMDR practitioner. She is involved in dog rescues and has utilized her pups as therapy dogs in her programs, and enjoys stand-up paddle boarding with her rescue, Birdie.
Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Dolores has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Drexel University and a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. Mr. Dolores started in the field as a Clinical Psychologist where he performed individual and group therapy as well as a variety of mental health assessments. He then transitioned into management and led facilities at Universal Health Services (UHS), Acadia Healthcare, Summit BHC, and Discovery Behavioral Health. Mr. Dolores started two behavioral health treatment companies, selling one in 2020. He also has his board certification in Healthcare Management.
Founding Neuroscientist & Chief Executive Officer
Ben has over a decade of brain-based behavioral health experience — and continues to break down both scientific and mental health barriers. As a Cognitive Neuroscience Ph.D. candidate at Maastricht University, Ben is currently researching ways to continue to personalize and optimize brain stimulation and medical psychedelic use. Ben attended graduate school at Columbia University and received a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience and Education. During graduate school, Ben developed a specialty in clinical neuromodulation and neuroimaging, where he used brain scans to predict off-label uses for TMS, neurofeedback, and Ketamine. Ben’s research has been published in prestigious journals such as Brain Stimulation and ACR Open Rheumatology, and presented at The Clinical TMS Society, The International Neuropsychological Society, and the Western Psychological Association. Ben serves as the Psychedelic Medicine Association’s Chapter Head of the Neurology Special Interest Group and has been honored as a 2023 Future Leader Under 40 by Behavioral Health Business.
