Ketamine Infusions

We’ve found that ketamine infusions can be extremely effective for those who have not found relief for their depression from traditional methods. Ketamine is not only for those suffering from depression. It also has been shown to provide relief for other conditions, such as suicidal ideations, anxiety, PTSD, and even chronic pain. Bespoke Treatment specializes in ketamine infusion treatments in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Our team is dedicated to finding solutions that work for each patient’s specific concerns and goals.

What is a Ketamine Infusion?

Ketamine was originally used as a pediatric anesthetic. Today, research shows that smaller, sub-anesthetic doses can relieve depression symptoms when other treatments have failed. Ketamine infusions are administered by an IV. Doses are individualized for each patient, based on body weight and medical history. Unlike SSRIs that must build up over time to work, ketamine almost immediately alters the neurotransmitter activity in your brain. Some patients have experienced relief as soon as the first session.

What Conditions Improve With Ketamine Infusions?

Ketamine infusions are almost always prescribed for patients who have tried multiple types of medication and therapy and have not found relief. Ketamine treatment can also be effective for patients suffering from suicidal ideations, anxiety, PTSD, and even chronic pain.

What Should I Expect During Ketamine Treatment?

We offer ketamine infusions as an in-office treatment. Before starting any treatment at Bespoke Treatment, a member of our medical team will conduct a comprehensive evaluation to ensure this is the best option for you.

During the entire treatment, a Bespoke Treatment medical team member will help guide your experience. Ketamine infusions can trigger some initial and short-lived side effects such as dizziness, floating sensations, or mild hallucinations. When your provider releases you, you will need a friend or family member to drive you home.

You may be tired for the rest of the day, but any fatigue will pass by the time you wake up the next morning.

Am I a Good Candidate for
Ketamine Therapy?

Ketamine infusions might be a good treatment option for you if conventional treatments for depression haven’t relieved your symptoms and you are in good physical health. If you have a history of substance abuse, your provider may recommend an alternative such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
